Looped litter: Rubber band
Outcome: Immediate release
At around 8.30pm an elusive platypus with looped litter around its body triggered a Platycam alert. While we now knew its approximate location, a wild and windy night made the task of finding the platypus that much harder. At the point of giving up for the night, we had ‘one last look’ and there she was! Moral of the story: Don’t give up!
