Saving the Hobart Rivulet Platypus’s mission is to promote and support activities that educate, enable, provide resources or inspire humanity to sustainably conserve, protect or restore the environment and the world’s ecosystems, natural resources, wildlife and wild places.

Australia’s most iconic species, the egg-laying, duck-billed, flat-tailed platypus, is disappearing before our eyes. According to a recent study, urbanisation and climate change are the biggest threats to platypuses across Australia.
