Hobart Rivulet Platypus School Visits

Hobart Rivulet Platypus School Visits
Empowering the Platypus Guardians of tomorrow

Aside from spending time with platypuses, school visits are our next most favourite and important thing to do!

What does a platypus school visit look like?

A visit can be tailored to suit your students. It could held be at school, or along the Hobart Rivulet. It could tie directly into our Seize it, Snip it, Bin it! litter campaign or not. It can be as little as a Q&A all the way through to creating videos!

How much do school visits cost?

School visits are free. We do however encourage schools who can afford it to make a donation.

How long is the session?

Sessions usually go for ~1 hour.

What days are you available?

School visits are currently on hold and will resume after our new documentary Becoming Platypus is released later in 2024.

Do you have a Working with Vulnerable card?

Yes

How about Zoom meetings? (not the platypus!)

Absolutely. We are happy to chat with classes over Zoom or Google Meet if that is the only option available.

We asked kids about platypus this is what they said.
